Quebec paycheck calculator
Quebec employment is computed by a SEPARATE sub-engine (Revenu Québec rules), never blended with the CRA one: QPP and QPP2, EI at the reduced Quebec rate, QPIP, federal tax after the Quebec abatement, and Quebec income tax.

Gross payWhy this line?Gross pay for the pay period, before any deduction. Why this rate: Set by the employment contract; every Canadian payroll deduction below is computed from it. What changes it: Hours worked, salary level, bonuses and taxable benefits. Source: CRA — T4032 Payroll Deductions Tables 2026, Section A (Chart 1, CPP/EI tables) — verified 2026-10-25. | $2,884.62 | $75,000.00 |
QPP contributionsWhy this line?Quebec Pension Plan contribution: 6.30% (5.30% base + 1.00% additional) of earnings above the $3,500 general exemption, up to the $74,600 maximum pensionable earnings (2026), maximum $4,479.30. Quebec's parallel to the CPP, at a higher rate. Why this rate: Retraite Québec — QPP 2026 basic data. What changes it: It stops once the maximum is reached mid-year. QPP2 contributionsWhy this line?Additional QPP contribution (QPP2): 4.00% of earnings between $74,600 and $85,000 (2026), maximum $416 — the Quebec parallel to CPP2. Why this rate: Retraite Québec — QPP 2026 basic data. What changes it: It only exists above the first ceiling and stops at the second. Source: Revenu Québec / Retraite Québec — 2026 published parameters — verified 2026-10-25. | $0.00 | $0.00 |
EI premiums (Quebec reduced rate)Why this line?Employment Insurance premium at the reduced Quebec rate: 1.30% up to the same $68,900 maximum insurable earnings (2026), maximum $895.70. Why this rate: CRA — T4032-QC 2026. The rate is lower in Quebec because parental benefits are provided by the QPIP instead of EI. What changes it: It stops once the annual maximum premium is reached. Source: CRA — T4032 Payroll Deductions Tables 2026, Section A (Chart 1, CPP/EI tables) — verified 2026-10-25. | $37.50 | $975.00 |

Federal income tax (after 16.5% Quebec abatement)Why this line?Federal income tax for a Quebec employee: the CRA formula result reduced by the 16.5% Quebec abatement. Why this rate: CRA — T4032-QC 2026; the abatement compensates for Quebec's opted-out programs. What changes it: Same drivers as federal tax outside Quebec. Source: CRA — T4032 Payroll Deductions Tables 2026, Section A (Chart 1, CPP/EI tables) — verified 2026-10-25. | $265.21 | $6,895.47 |

Methodology, limits and sources
Rates verified on 2026-10-25 (primary sources listed per line).
Revenu Québec sub-engine: QPP, QPP2 and QPIP follow Retraite Québec's and Revenu Québec's published 2026 parameters, and Quebec income tax follows Revenu Québec's official formula guide TP-1015.F (2026 edition). The engine was arbitrated against Revenu Québec's WebRAS simulator under that guide (arbitration closed in October 2026): it now reproduces WebRAS to the cent on the official sample cases.
Data status
Quebec parameters: primary-verified — QPP, QPP2, EI and QPIP read against Retraite Québec's and Revenu Québec's publications, and the Quebec income-tax formula arbitrated against the TP-1015.F formula guide and WebRAS, with agreement to the cent on the arbitrated cases (status: primary-verified).
